I am a minister, photographer, retreat leader, author and Quaker -- albeit one who's not always good at being a good Quaker. I am the author of "Awaken Your Senses," "Holy Silence: The Gift of Quaker Spirituality," "Mind the Light: Learning to See with Spiritual Eyes" and "Sacred Compass: The Path of Spiritual Discernment" (foreword by Richard Foster).
This blog is a compendium of writing, photography, seriousness and silliness -- depending on my mood.
I have recently awakened my senses and found the book useful
I am and still guess, a completely normal person going about my work and life without a drop of spirituality in me. Yet I always felt there was something I couldn’t explain within me. I suppressed it for years, until almost by accident I went to a channelling workshop.
And I discovered that there was indeed another side of me, I could write automatically the most beautiful and insightful things that I had no idea what they meant. So I have set up a blog www.discoveringmylight.com which has catalogued everything I have channelled over the past year, as I am seeking to find others who either have this ability or can just help me understand the things I write. It is in no way monetised or there for any other purpose than for people to read and give comment and feedback.
